It appears that Nokia has dropped the subscription cost of its Ovi Files service. Ovi Files is an network-based file storage system that allows users to connect to their computer from any remote connection, including mobile devices.

Previously, the service cost 6.99 GBP (US$11.54) for a 10GB monthly subscription or 12.99 GBP (US$21.45) for a 30GB monthly subscription. Annually, the 10GB plan was available for a reduced 49.99 GBP (US$82.52) and the 30GB plan for 99.99 GBP (US$165.05).

Nokia will return a pro-rated subscription amount to users who have already paid for the service. [via AllAboutSymbian]
